ABS Plate

ABS plate is a heavy-gauge machining stock that delivers tough, impact-resistant performance at a fraction of the cost of engineering-grade plastics. Available in thicknesses up to 6", ABS plate gives fabricators the material depth needed for large machined parts, thick-wall components, and multi-axis work without laminating or bonding thinner sheets together. It offers high rigidity, good dimensional stability, and consistent internal quality through the full cross-section, so parts hold tolerance as material is removed. Stocked in black and white to suit both finished-appearance parts and shop applications where color coding or paint adhesion matters.

ABS plate machines quickly and cleanly on CNC mills, routers, and lathes, producing manageable chips and low tool wear compared with harder plastics and metals. That combination makes it a standard choice for machined prototypes, tooling and fixture bases, jigs, vacuum-form molds, backing plates, wear pads, and thermoformed patterns. It bonds well with solvent cement and structural adhesives, accepts threaded inserts, and takes paint and adhesive graphics readily in white. ABS is suited to indoor and continuous-service applications up to roughly 160°F; for outdoor exposure, black or UV-stabilized grades are recommended. Cut-to-size service is available to minimize waste on large or odd-dimension parts.
