ABS Sheet, Haircell Texture

Haircell textured ABS sheet delivers the impact strength and formability of standard ABS with a fine, non-directional grain finish that hides scratches, fingerprints, and minor handling marks. The embossed haircell pattern is applied to one face while the reverse stays smooth, giving fabricators a finished-looking surface straight off the sheet without secondary painting or laminating. Available in common gauges from .060" through .250" and standard 48" x 96" sheets, textured ABS offers excellent rigidity-to-weight, consistent thickness for repeatable forming, and a matte appearance that resists glare in interior applications.

ABS thermoforms at relatively low temperatures with deep draw capability and tight detail reproduction, making it a cost-effective choice for vacuum-formed housings, trays, and panels. It cuts, routers, drills, and die-cuts cleanly on standard shop equipment, and bonds reliably with solvent cement or structural adhesives. Typical applications include automotive and RV interior trim, marine components, point-of-purchase displays, equipment enclosures, protective covers, wall panels, and food-service trays. Flame-rated and UV-stabilized grades are available for applications with code or outdoor exposure requirements.
