Densetec® Anti-Skid HDPE Sheet

Densetec® Anti-Skid is a high-density polyethylene sheet (PE 300) with a moulded grip texture on the working face, made for surfaces that stay safe when wet. The protrusions catch the sole of a shoe and water drains away in the channels beneath them rather than sheeting across the surface, and a high-grip compound in the face lifts the coefficient of friction further. Like all Densetec sheet the colour runs through the full thickness, so wear and scratches never expose a different substrate, and the sheet is moisture resistant, stain and graffiti resistant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.

It is specified for ladder rungs and platforms, walkways and ramps, marine decking and dock steps, swimming pool and water park surfaces, livestock flooring, and playground flooring and components — anywhere a wet surface would otherwise be a slip hazard. Two textures are stocked: dot, a raised round protrusion with the most aggressive grip, and diamond, a finer cross-hatch that is easier underfoot and easier to sweep clean. Polyethylene will not accept paint or solvent cement, so parts are fastened mechanically. Every colour except black is FDA approved.
