Densetec® Cutting Board HDPE Sheet

Densetec® Cutting Board is high-density polyethylene sheet (PE 300) made for food preparation surfaces. Its molecular structure is the selling point: a knife cut closes behind the blade and becomes indiscernible rather than staying open as a groove, so the board does not accumulate the scored channels that trap food and bacteria on softer materials. It is non-porous, will not dull knife blades, and is mildew, moisture, odour, chemical and acid resistant. It will not splinter, chip, swell, rot or crack, and it is USDA and FDA approved for food applications as well as RoHS and REACH compliant.

It is specified for commercial and residential cutting boards, butcher blocks, industrial cutting surfaces, buffets and salad bars, food stations and preparation areas, food processing equipment and shelving. Colour-coding boards by food type is standard practice in commercial kitchens, which is why seven colours are stocked. The orange peel texture is the standard finish and gives some grip under wet product; a smooth finish is available, and NSF-logo stamped sheet can be run to a minimum order.
