Densetec® PipeGrade Sheet

Densetec® PipeGrade is black pipe-grade polyethylene sheet for fabricating the flat parts that go with HDPE piping. It welds readily, which is the whole point — flanges and fittings fuse to the pipe rather than bolting to it — and it is UV resistant, chemical resistant, stress-crack resistant and scratch and abrasion resistant, with high tensile strength and the stiffness to hold up as machined parts. It is formable, RoHS and REACH compliant, and the resin is certified NSF 14 and 61 for potable water. Standard product is ASTM D3350 Class 445574.

Typical parts are flanges, gussets, end caps, manhole covers, guides and wear plates, tanks and containers — anything that has to last as long as the pipe it is bolted or welded to. It is supplied black only, on the wide 60" x 120" sheet, in 1/4" through 1" extruded. Compression-moulded plate from 1-1/4" to 6" is available on request with a minimum order quantity, as are other sheet sizes.
