Densetec® Play HDPE Sheet

Densetec® Play is a UV-stabilised high-density polyethylene sheet (PE 300) made for outdoor equipment that has to survive weather, sunlight and children. The colour runs all the way through the sheet, so scratches, gouges and saw cuts show the same colour as the face and the panel never needs painting. It will not swell, rot, delaminate, crack or chip, it shrugs off graffiti and cleans up with solvent, and it is RoHS and REACH compliant. The orange-peel textured finish hides handling marks and gives a surface that is easy to grip and easy to wipe down.

This is the sheet behind playground panels and ladders, hockey rink dasher boards and kick plates, park benches, picnic tables, outdoor signs and displays, shelving and site furniture — any outdoor part that would otherwise need repainting every couple of seasons. It routs, drills and saws cleanly on woodworking equipment and takes CNC detail well, though like all polyethylene it will not accept paint or solvent cement, so parts are fastened mechanically rather than bonded. Every colour except black is FDA approved. Stocked in 1/4" through 3/4" in 48" x 96" and 48" x 120" sheets, cut to your size to reduce waste and shop cut time.
