Densetec® Sign is a three-layer high-density polyethylene sheet (PE 300) with a coloured cap over a contrasting core, made to be engraved rather than painted. Routing or sandblasting through the cap exposes the core colour underneath, so the lettering is part of the sheet and cannot fade, peel or be washed off. It is UV stabilised, graffiti resistant, and will not swell, rot, crack or chip, so a sign cut today looks the same after a decade outdoors with no repainting.
It is the standard substrate for park, trail and golf course signage, pool and water park rules boards, campground and marina markers, school and municipal wayfinding, and playground components and advertising panels. Ten cap and core combinations are stocked — Red/White/Red and Blue/White/Blue for classic high-contrast lettering, Yellow/Black/Yellow for hazard and safety signs, Green/Beige/Green and Beige/Green/Beige for park signage that suits its surroundings. All but Yellow/Black/Yellow and Black/White/Black are FDA approved. Stocked in 1/2" and 3/4" in 48" x 96" and 48" x 120" sheets, cut to your size.
