The PoliCarb® Corner "R" profile is a polycarbonate joining profile that brings two multiwall panels together at a corner, forming a clean finished transition without custom fabrication or field-built flashing. Molded from the same polycarbonate as the panels it joins, the profile expands and contracts at the same rate as the glazing, which keeps joints tight through seasonal temperature swings where dissimilar materials would work loose. It is available sized for 8–10mm panels and for 16mm panels, matching the corresponding PoliCarb multiwall configurations.
Corner "R" profiles are used wherever a multiwall assembly turns a corner — enclosure and vestibule walls, greenhouse and patio structures, canopy returns, partition and room divider ends, and window and wall systems built from PoliCarb panels. The profile captures and protects the cut panel edges at the joint, an important detail in multiwall construction, where open flutes admit dust and moisture that cloud the panel and degrade both appearance and thermal performance. Specify the profile size to match your panel thickness, and pair it with the appropriate flute-sealing tapes and the balance of the PoliCarb accessory system — Flashing "F", PC Connector "H", aluminum and PC "U" profiles, and the Poli-Lok® aluminum glazing system — for a complete, weathertight installation.
