The PoliCarb® Flashing "F" profile is a polycarbonate edge and perimeter profile that caps the exposed edge of a multiwall panel and provides a flashing lip where the glazing meets a wall, curb, or framing member. Extruded from the same polycarbonate as the panels it serves, it matches their rate of thermal expansion and their UV resistance, so the detail stays tight and clear rather than working loose or discoloring against the glazing. It is available sized for 8–10mm panels and for 16mm panels, matching the corresponding PoliCarb multiwall configurations.
Flashing "F" profiles are used at the head, jamb, and perimeter conditions of multiwall assemblies — greenhouse and patio enclosures, canopies and covered walkways, skylight and roof glazing terminations, vertical wall and window systems, and partition installations. The profile closes off the cut panel edge, which matters in multiwall construction because open flutes draw in dust, insects, and moisture that cloud the panel from the inside and undercut both appearance and thermal performance. Match the profile size to your panel thickness, apply the correct breathable and solid sealing tapes to the flute ends before installing the profile, and combine it with the balance of the PoliCarb accessory system — Corner "R", PC Connector "H", aluminum and PC "U" profiles, and the Poli-Lok® aluminum
