Gallina PoliCarb® PC Snap Connector "H" Profile

The PoliCarb® PC Snap "H" connector is a two-piece polycarbonate joining profile that ties multiwall panels together edge to edge with a mechanically fastened base and a snap-on cap. The base is screwed directly to the purlin or framing member through the joint line, the panels are set into it on either side, and the cap snaps over the top to lock the assembly and conceal the fasteners. That sequence is the practical advantage over a one-piece H profile: panels can be installed and secured one at a time from the framing outward, rather than sliding a full sheet edge into a channel, which makes long runs and overhead work far easier for a small crew. Available for 6mm through 10mm panel thicknesses.

Snap "H" connectors are the preferred joint for larger roof and canopy installations, greenhouse and patio structures, covered walkways, and any multiwall run where the panels are fastened to a supporting frame rather than simply spanned between edges. Because the base is anchored and the panels rest within it, the system also positively restrains the glazing against wind uplift while still allowing thermal movement along the joint. Seal the flute ends before assembly — solid tape at the upper edge, breathable anti-dust tape at the lower — and use oversized fastener holes with washers rated for polycarbonate so panels can expand and contract without stressing the screws.
