King ColorCore® is a multi-layer engravable polyethylene sheet: a thin coloured cap of roughly 0.050" over a contrasting core, fused into one homogeneous sheet by King’s Polyfusion process. Routing or engraving through the cap exposes the core colour, so the lettering is part of the material and cannot fade, peel or wash off. It is made with high-impact-resistant polymer to take more abuse than conventional sign stock, has a matte finish on both faces, and will not rust, delaminate or rot outdoors.
Eighteen cap and core combinations are stocked, most of them as reversible pairs — Blue/White/Blue alongside White/Blue/White, Red/Black/Red alongside Black/Red/Black — so a sign and its reverse-reading twin come from the same palette. It is used for signage and wayfinding, architectural lettering, point-of-purchase displays, carnival games, picnic tables, children’s furniture and marine and playground work. Colours are matched to King ColorBoard®. Stocked in 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" on the 48" x 96" sheet.
