King MediGrade® Antimicrobial HDPE Sheet

King MediGrade® is King’s healthcare building sheet, a tough 0.963 g/cc polyethylene with antimicrobial technology compounded into the material rather than applied to the surface, so the protection lasts the life of the part and cannot be cleaned or machined off. King cites studies showing certain product-damaging bacteria inhibited by 99.99% against an untreated surface. It has a matte gloss finish on both faces, is environmentally stabilised, and will not rust, delaminate or rot in UV, humidity or water.

Equipment and casework built from it stays cleaner between cleanings, which is why it is specified for cabinetry and storage carts, mobile computer carts, nurses stations, clean rooms, medical laboratories, dental and veterinary facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, locker rooms and rest rooms. It fabricates with ordinary woodworking tooling and needs no painting or refinishing. The antimicrobial protects the product against bacterial degradation — it does not protect people from disease-causing bacteria, and surfaces still need proper cleaning. Stocked in 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" on the 48" x 96" sheet.
