King StarLite® XL is the economical closed-cell utility sheet, made from selected high-grade King StarBoard® recycled polyethylene and up to 35% lighter than the original at a density of 0.70 g/cc. It has a matte finish on both faces and the same resistance to rust, delamination and rot in UV, humidity and water. Three utility colours are stocked — black, gray and white — on the wide 60" x 96" sheet.
This is the behind-the-scenes sheet: upholstery substrate, deck components and equipment mounts, recess hatches and bait well covers, tackle centres, doorstops and thresholds — work where the part is covered, hidden or simply does not need a show edge. The closed cell core machines cleanly but shows its texture on a cut edge, so it is not the choice for visible trim; King StarBoard® or StarBoard® XL suit that better. Stocked 1/4" through 3/4", cut to your size.
