Solid aluminium tape that seals the flutes at the TOP end of a panel, stopping water and dirt entering and running down the channels. 2.0" wide, Full roll.
This is the top-end tape only. Using it at both ends traps vapour inside the flutes, where it condenses and permanently fogs the panel - the bottom end takes breathable tape instead. The tape a panel ships with is transport tape and must be replaced before installation.
In a polycarbonate glazing system the profiles exist so the panel can move. That is why they are dry-fit, why the screw goes through the panel in an oversized hole rather than into the profile, and why adhesive, putty and unapproved sealants void the panel warranty.
