Caps the cut end of a multiwall panel over the closure tape, protecting the tape and sealing the flutes against water, dust and insects while the panel still drains. Sized for 16mm multiwall panel. Anodized.
At the bottom of a run it must be drilled with 1/8" weep holes at 12" centres, or it becomes a water trap instead of a closure.
In a polycarbonate glazing system the profiles exist so the panel can move. That is why they are dry-fit, why the screw goes through the panel in an oversized hole rather than into the profile, and why adhesive, putty and unapproved sealants void the panel warranty.
