PETG

PETG is the glycol-modified copolyester that fabricators reach for when they want polycarbonate-like toughness with acrylic-like clarity and none of the headaches of either. It forms and cold-bends without crazing, needs no pre-drying before thermoforming, and cuts and routs with standard woodworking tooling.

Colorado Plastic Products stocks clear PETG sheet — including Vivak® and Spectar® — in thicknesses from thin 0.020" stock up to 1/2" plate, with FDA-compliant grades for food-contact and medical work and textured or non-glare surfaces available. Display houses, sign shops, machine builders, and food and medical equipment manufacturers use it for POP displays and retail fixtures, machine guards and safety shields, protective barriers, formed housings, signage and lettering, and deep-draw thermoformed parts. It takes digital printing and vinyl graphics well, bonds with common adhesives, and delivers deeper draws than acrylic can survive. For sustained outdoor exposure, choose a UV-stabilized material instead; for higher chemical resistance in the same family, see our PCTG page.
