Colorado Plastics Marks 20 Years of Ownership By Drew and Anita Schwartz

Louisville, CO – September 2025

Colorado Plastics is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary under the ownership of Drew and Anita Schwartz. Since acquiring the company in 2005 from Ralph and Jane Ranson, the Schwartzes have transformed Colorado Plastics into Colorado’s leading, locally owned supplier and fabricator of performance plastics.

From its base in the Colorado Technology Center, the company serves thousands of customers across industries including aerospace, renewable energy, biotech, architecture, and the military. Products range from stair treads and protective windows to custom fabrications for advanced technologies.

“From the beginning, our strength has been that we have a very large number of repeat customers,” said co-owner Drew Schwartz. “That diversity and loyalty have kept us strong through every economic cycle.”

Sustainability has been a cornerstone of the company’s operations. Under co-owner Anita Schwartz’s leadership in marketing and communications, Colorado Plastics launched monthly Remnant Sales, which divert thousands of pounds of plastic from landfills each year while providing affordable materials to schools, makers, artists, and local businesses. The company also invested in an energy-efficient facility to reduce its environmental footprint.

In August 2025, Colorado Plastics reached a new milestone with ISO 9001:2015 certification, underscoring its commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.

As a certified woman-owned business, Colorado Plastics attributes its success to the strong partnership between Drew and Anita, who have combined their expertise in operations, finance, marketing, and community engagement.
