Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) sits at the top of the thermoplastic pyramid, holding continuous service temperatures near 480°F while resisting virtually every industrial chemical, steam, hydrolysis, and radiation — and it does it with the strength, stiffness, and creep resistance to replace metal in loaded parts. Colorado Plastic Products stocks PEEK sheet and rod, including Ketron® and Victrex® grades, in unfilled natural, 30% glass-filled for added stiffness and dimensional stability, 30% carbon-filled for strength and thermal conductivity, and bearing grades blended with PTFE, graphite, and carbon fiber for self-lubricating wear service. Aerospace, semiconductor, oil and gas, and medical manufacturers specify it for downhole seals and backup rings, wafer-handling components, pump and valve parts, bearings and bushings, electrical insulators, and autoclavable surgical instruments, with FDA and USP Class VI grades available. It is inherently flame retardant, low-outgassing for vacuum work, and machines to tight tolerances with proper tooling.
